Description:

The solder paste library update is a self-extracting application. Once you have copied the exe file to the PC with your KIC software, run it by double clicking on the file. The default folder to extract to will be C:\Profiling Software. If you have installed your KIC software into a different folder (this will be the case for 24/7, Vision, RPI as well) then click on the browse button to locate the root KIC software folder. Once you have selected the folder click on the Unzip button. A message box will confirm a successful unzip. Click on OK then click on Close. You now have updated your KIC software with the current solder paste library.

If the solder paste you are using is not listed in the Library, you can select the “Define Your Own Spec” option and enter the data manually that is given on the technical data sheet provided by your paste manufacturer. Can’t find your solder paste in our Library? Please send us an email with the Manufacturer ie: (AIM), Product Name ie: (NC251) and formula ie: (Sn96.5/Ag3.5) to: solderpaste@KICmail.com We’ll gladly add this paste to our library.
